Alexa Multimodal Finalist
|
We are thrilled to announce that our own VP of Marketing, Caroline Dunn, is a top 10 finalist in the Alexa Skills Challenge: Multimodal for her skill Running Clothes!
Caroline developed Running Clothes to take the guesswork out of checking weather for outdoor runs. Running Clothes will tell you your local temperature, wind speed, and a suggested running outfit.

You can also “log your run” after you return and let her know how the clothing recommendation worked for you. With machine learning, your future run outfit suggestions will be personalized to your comfort level.
Running Clothes is a top 10 finalist of over 430 entries and currently competing for the grand prize. Watch Caroline’s entry video here.
But we need your help!
To determine the grand prize winner, we need YOU to enable the Running Clothes skill and use it every day from March 16 – 29, 2019.
Instead of a vote, we are voting with devices.
If you have an Amazon Echo device, all you have to do is say, “Alexa, launch Running Clothes”
You can still participate with your smartphone if you don’t have an Alexa.

Steps to Setup Running Clothes on your smartphone with Alexa app:
1. Download the Alexa app onto your phone.
2. Open the Alexa app and login using your Amazon Shopping credentials.
3. Touch the Alexa icon at the bottom / middle of the Alexa app
4. And say, “Launch Running Clothes”
If you wish to have Alexa automatically pull the weather, you’ll need to enable postal code permissions in the Alexa app.
The grand prize winner of the Alexa Multimodal skills challenge will be determined by customer engagement between March 16 and March 29, 2019 and the judges’ scores. We need your help with the customer engagement!
Please enable the Running Clothes advisor here and use it every day.
Thank you for your help!
